OCMSA Safety Session Part 1 & 2

The Ontario Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association (OCMSA) is holding an introductory safety session for new mounted shooters in Ontario. Cost: $175. This is a 5 + 3 (8 Hour total) This session is for anyone wanting to try mounted shooting and join the OCMSA. This session will include introduction to firearm safety/safe holstering, rules and safety requirements of the sport. You can not bring your own guns, we will provide. You will need to bring a sound horse and a western saddle. This session will include live blank fire on the ground and from horseback. (No live ammo to be brought on premises.) Part I will be classroom and dry fire safety training only - five hours in length. Part II will include horse desensitization to gunfire, and participants will engage balloons on horse back. Participants must complete both session I & II for a minimum of eight hours safety training in order to successfully complete the Introductory Safety Session , and receive the Safety Certificate.
