Your instructor, Mikayla, graduated from the University of Findlay in 2019 earning a BSc in Animal Science with an emphasis on the food animal industry. While in University, she pursued many certifications in equine massage therapy, rehabilitation therapy, PEMF therapy, muscle tape, and raindrop therapy. After graduation she enrolled in the Vet Tech program at St.Clair College. Shortly after graduation, she wrote her board exam and is now a Registered Veterinary Technician. She works part time at Essex Animal Hospital & Harwich Veterinary Clinic as an RVT. She also works at St.Clair College teaching second year vet tech students their hands-on lab for large animal medicine. Between working as an RVT and teaching, she also runs a rehab business treating horses in and around Windsor/Essex and Chatham-Kent and also manages her families farm where they operate a quarter horse breeding farm.
