Ontario Trillium Foundation- 2011
The mission of the Ontario Trillium Foundation is to build healthy and vibrant communities throughout Ontario by strengthening the capacity of the voluntary sector, through investments in community-based initiatives. Farm Credit Canada, AgriSpirit Fund- 2009
The FCC AgriSpirit Fund is about making life better for people in rural communities. Successful projects in the past have included hospitals and medical centres, childcare facilities, fire and rescue equipment, playgrounds, food banks, libraries, recreation centres and community gardens. REACH Huron recieved AgriSpirit funding to go towards the construction of a greenhouse, potting shed and community gardens. What for photos of the project that will be built this fall!
Rural Economic Development (RED) Program- 2008
The Rural Economic Development (RED) program assists with the costs of projects that benefit rural Ontario. REACH Huron was able to secure successful RED funding in 2008 under the granting priorities of Community Revitalization & Skills Training & Enhancement.
